Hey guys,

For a long time I've wanted to link Matador to Flickr. Would you guys use this if we made it happen? Do you have Flickr accounts? I think it would be cool and make tagging and descriptions a lot easier, but I don't want to spend the programming time on it if not enough people have Flickr accounts...

I've got a flickr account, though normally I sign on to the BraveNewTraveler account instead of my personal one...

I've got one, but I only use it to pillage other people's photos and I've never posted any of my own...

I opened one a long time ago and recall that I didn't find it particularly intuitive or user-friendly. But this was over a year ago... I'm definitely open to trying it out.

This has absolutely nothing to do with Flickr but I think a video option would be amazing.

I use Flickr, love Flickr (well - love/hate but I've yet to find a better alternative) and I would be ECSTATIC about the two being linked.

While I'm on the road I upload ONLY to Flickr, bypassing even my own website because of time constraints/internet cafe costs... I think I did upload a few to Matador a couple of weeks ago but that was a rare occasion.

I'm waiting for the New Internet to get on ball with images - it's such a waste of space and bandwidth to have to upload them individually everywhere (Facebook, Myspace, Flickr, Matador, etc). So redundant.

I got an account but don't really use it.
I think you should give it a try and set it up. It would probably open a lot of doors for people.

Integrating with flickr would be amazing. It's also not so tough, they've put together a pretty nice API.

It's funny, as I'm going through adding the same titles/captions on Matador as I did on Flickr, I sat here wishing they were linked... Maybe that day's not too far off.
