Here's your chance to indulge that lifelong dream... of spending a few glorious weeks in Canada's capital!
I'm looking to sublet my apartment while I'm on the road in March/April. It's a spacious one-bedroom, fully furnished, in a clean, safe low-rise building on the edges of a posh residential neighbourhood just west of downtown. $600 CAD per month including broadband and landline, or $500 without.
Extremely close to groceries, restaurants, hardware store, pharmacy, video store, etc, etc - very well served by public transit - 5-10 mins to downtown on the express bus, just a few mins walk away - 10 mins walk to the river where you can connect to the city-wide cycle path network - 20 mins walk to Chinatown, Little Italy. Coin laundry in the basement.
What else do you need to know? Hmm. My ideal candidate will want both months but if you want just one, let me know too. Ideally I don't want to pack up all my stuff, ie I'd clear space in the closet for clothes and in the cupboards for food but would leave my bookshelves fully loaded.

Global warming permitting, March should still be ski / x-country ski / snowshoe / winter camping season around here. (For more on what Ottawa has to offer, see my Green Guide: http://thetravelersnotebook.com/destination-guides/green-guide-to-ottawa/)
Let me know if you'd like pics, more details, or anything else!
Thanks,
