All Volunteers need an Entry Visa into Ghana. This can be obtained at the Embassy of Ghana in each country. Please make sure to obtain a valid travel visa for Ghana as these are not issued at the Airport.
FOREIGN CURRENCY
All convert able Foreign Currency is welcome in Ghana and can be changed in any of the Banks or Forex Bureaus to the daily exchange rate. The rate for traveler’s cheques is very low and they are not accepted in Hotels or Shops. Most Credit Cards - Visa, Master, Euro, and Delta Cards - are widely accepted in major Banks, Hotels, Shops, Filling stations.
